Recently returned to Buffalo, Dyan spent this past fall working
in the Theatre Department at the University at Buffalo as
the Department Head Electrician and student lab supervisor. Around town
she also does design and tech work for the Seneca Niagara/Allegany Casino,
UB's Center For the Arts, and the local band Lazlo Hollyfeld.
Dyan holds a
Master of Fine Arts degree in Stage Design from Southern Methodist University
in Dallas, TX and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatre Design and Technology
from the University at Buffalo.
Recent designs in Dallas include HAMLET and SPRING
AWAKENING.
With Subversive Theatre, Dyan served as Set
Designer for our critically acclaimed production of WAITING FOR LEFTY
(Jan-Feb 2008) and then worked herself to death serving as the designer of
lights, set, and props for our production of NICKEL AND DIMED
(April-May 2008).
Dyan is very excited to be a part of Subversive
Theatre's production team . . . and we consider ourselves very lucky to have
her on board.
