A long time member of the Ujima Theatre Collective, Mary has
appeared in numerous productions at Ujima including ONCE ON THIS ISLAND,
EAST TEXAS HOTLINKS, and A MATTER OF INTENT as well as
directing their production of A BODY OF WATER. Mary has also worked with a long list of Buffalo's finest
theatre troupes that includes the New Phoenix
Theatre, the Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, O'Connell & Company and many
other Buffalo playhouses.
A mild manner speech pathologist by day, Mary has also
been known to display her talents as a guitarist and singer at night with
the actor-musician fusion band "The Skiffles Minstrels."
On May Day, 2005, Mary made her debut appearance with
Subversive Theatre in our staged reading of Bertolt Brecht's THE MOTHER in
the role of Tatiana Sigorski.
Shortly after that, Mary took on the title role in
Subversive Theatre's international tour of MOTHER DIS-COURAGE (pictured
left) that
graced Montreal, Buffalo, and New York City throughout the summer of 2005.
