Matthew C.
Resident Graphic Designer

A mild mannered art teacher at Buffalo's public schools by day, a radical illustrator by night, Matt is the driving force behind the independent arts studio REVOLUTIONARY GRAPHICS.  A long-time political artist, Matt's masterpieces include everything from paintings to cartoons, and even t-shirt graphics.
Matt is also the proud author of an illustrated memoir about called MY FIRST YEAR IN PURGATORY -- it's a nightmarish yet funny chronicle of his first year as an urban public school teacher.  You can check it out yourself online at: http://www.lulu.com/content/630141.  Matt welcomes feedback on his work.  You can e-mail him at: intensity882000@yahoo.com.
A welcome addition to the Subversive ensemble, Matt has crafted sets and posters for our production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR for the 2004 Toronto Fringe Festival as well as for our production of MOTHER DIS-COURAGE for Curtain Up 2004.
Most recently, Matt concocted the graphics for our production of SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007 as well as our production of THE EXCEPTION AND THE RULE (above left) for the 2007 Buffalo "infringement" Festival.
