Peter is pleased to be a part of the Subversive
Theatre Collective's gang of actors. Brought up by activist parents, Peter
has long been an advocate of peace in the world and of the peaceful
resolution of conflict. So he is right at home here in Subversive Theatre
Land.
A native of Long Island, Peter spent most of his
acting career in New York City, where he performed at numerous
off-off-Broadway venues (and plenty of off-off-off-Broadway joints as well).
In Buffalo, Peter has appeared at the Alleyway
Theatre in their annual production of A CHRISTMAS CAROL, in the
Jewish Repertory Theatre's GOOD, at the
Irish Classical Theatre in TRANSLATIONS, THE COBBLER, AMADEUS
and LOOT, and in Road Less Traveled Productions' THE WAR ROOM. He can also
be seen in TESSERACT, an independent film that was released the
spring of 2006.
Peter made his first appearance with
Subversive Theatre as the ultra-patriot "Man" in PATRIOT
ACT in November of 2005. He played the dorky
klansman Tom (pictured above) in our production of SINCERITY FOREVER
for the 2006 Buffalo "infringement" Festival. Most
recently, he played multiple roles in our staged reading of Georg Buchner's
political theatre classic DANTON'S DEATH in the summer of 2009.
A very talented, reliable, and level-headed actor
with a passionate commitment to the larger issues of the world, we at Subversive Theatre
are honored to count Peter among our ranks.
