Alt Theatre
255 Great Arrow Avenue, North Buffalo
Tucked away on the third floor of North
Buffalo's Great Arrow Building, the Alt Theatre will be found at 255
Great Arrow Avenue at the corner of Elmwood Avenue (in between Elmwood
to the east, Delaware to the west, Amherst to the south, and Hertel to
the north).
Parking is available in a massive parking lot
directly across the street on the Great Arrow Avenue side of the
building. Enter through the main doors (pictured left) near the
western end of the building and proceed to the third floor.
This one-time industrial warehouse space has
been expertly converted into a very adaptable performance space that
seats up to 50 patrons. Also the home of the Buffalo Contemporary
Dance Company, the Alt Theatre is a fully equipped production facility
with a 50 dimmer lighting system and a state of the art sound system.
The Great Arrow Building is handicapped
accessible with an elevator located through the complex's eastern
entrance.
