    For our first full-scale production, there could be no play more appropriate than Nobel Prize-winner Dario Fo's controversial 1970 farce THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF AN ANARCHIST.  Drawing on the five hundred year old Italian tradition of comedia dell'arte, this off-the-wall comedy unflinchingly ridicules the police, the press, the clergy, and just about every other aspect of the establishment you can think of.  
    Revised by Director Kurt Schneiderman to address post-September 11 issues like the decimation of civil rights and the persecution of Arab-Americans, our production was the regional premier of this internationally infamous work that is woefully under-performed in the United States.
     Sponsored by the New York State Arts Council, UB's Graduate Group for Marxist Studies, and Odd Man Ou....t Studios, our rendition of ANARCHIST was performed in the bohemian backroom of Allentown's Rust Belt Book and featured the following cast & crew:
