"I used to think that state aid to the theatre was the solution.  There should be state aid, of course, but I've grown frightened of people who hold the money.
Bureaucrats are dangerous in any art, in any land.  It would be fine if government would put in the money and then go mind its business.  But it won't."

THE SHOWDOWN
Union Organizer Dave Sigmund (Tim Eimiller, center) is caught quite literally in the middle as union President Stanley Gorski (David A. Hoffmann, left) and the union's Financial Secretary Carl Morgan (Victor Morales, right) battle over the question of missing funds.

THE HOTSEAT
In the raucous union meeting, President Stanley Gorski (David A. Hoffmann, standing center) puts his case to union Organizer Dave Sigmund (Tim Eimiller, seated left) as the rest of the assemblage -- clockwise starting upper left: Ted Walkowiak (Brian Zybala*), Cedric Thompson (Robert "Hodie" Hodas*), Wally Gawrys (Erik Eimiller), Edie Bennett (Anthony Tyrpak*), Gene Smoyer (Guy DeFedericis*), Howie Evans (Marshall Maxwell*), and "Kewpie" Fleischauer (Kevin Dennis) -- holler and shout.

BOILING OVER
The union meeting goes wild as Financial Secretary Carl Morgan (Victor Morales, center) throws down the gauntlet to President Stanley Gorski (David A. Hoffmann, left).  Other meeting members from left to right: Organizer Dave Sigmund (Tim Eimiller, seated left), Cedric Thompson (Robert "Hodie" Hodas*), Eddie Bennett (Anthony Tyrpak*), Howie Evans (Marshall Maxwell*), "Kewpie" Fleischauer (Kevin Dennis, down center), Willie Clifford (Anthony Giambrone), Bill Payne (Tom Izard*, far right).

DOWN WITH DAISIES
A less than sober "Kewpie" Fleischauer (Kevin Dennis, center) spits ire at union President Stanley Gorski (David A. Hoffmann, left) as bartender Louie (Leon S. Copeland, Jr.*, right) tries to keep order.

DANCING HIS TROUBLES AWAY
Playfully dancing to stripper music, Carl Morgan (Victor Morales, right) bumps and grinds his way over to his unamused wife Mildred (Betsy Bittar, center) under the impatient watch of bartender Louie (Leon S. Copeland, Jr*, left).

THE FOUR SHOUTERS
The Four Shouters -- the union's diligent wreckers and splitters -- belly up to the bar.  From left to right: Bill Payne (Tom Izard*), Gene Smoyer (Guy DeFedericis*), Howie Evans (understudy Brian Zybala*), and Willie Clifford (Anthony Giambrone).

THE BUCK STOPS HERE
Financial Secretary Carl Morgan (Victor Morales) has to find some quick answers as meets with the union's national auditor Frank Ryan (Jack Agugliaro, right).

THE WHOLE TEAM!
The entire cast of DROP HAMMER with Director Kurt Schneiderman* (down center left), stage manager Virginia Brannon* (far right top), and the playwright himself, Manny Fried* (down far right).
