Victor Morales
("Harry Fatt/Mr. Fayette/Mr. Grady")
Victor's long list of stage credits features the
Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, Kavinoky, Shakespeare in the Park, Amherst Players,
Coop Productions, as well as various television and voice over work.
Recent roles include the Lancaster Opera
House's FIDDLER ON THE ROOF, the Niagara Regional Theatre Guild's INHERIT THE WIND, and the New Phoenix Theatre's
JESUS HOPPED THE A-TRAIN.
WAITING FOR LEFTY is Victor's third
appearance with Subversive Theatre, the first two being ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
(2004) and FOUNDATIONS (2007).

Tom Scahill*
("The Gunman")
A long-time member of the Subversive Theatre
Collective, Tom is a seasoned actor and impassioned activist on many social
issues.
On stage Tom has appeared with many area theatres
including Ujima, Kavinoky, Shakespeare in Delaware Park, and the Buffalo
Ensemble Theatre.
Subversive Theatre credits include: THE ACCIDENTAL DEATH OF ANARCHIST (2002 -- pictured

Richard Lambert+
("Joe")
The Founder & Executive Director of the New
Phoenix Theatre Company, Richard has appeared in a long list of productions at
the New Phoenix, throughout Buffalo, and throughout North America.
Some recent stage credits at New Phoenix include METAMORPHOSIS,
THE WOMAN BEFORE and -- most recently -- THE PILLOWMAN.
WAITING FOR LEFTY is Richard's first
appearance with Subversive Theatre . . . other than originally performing the
role of "Joe" in our staged reading of the play for May Day 2006
(pictured right).

Kate LoConti
("Edna")
Off-Broadway: A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM
(Helena), Off-Off-Broadway: LOVE: A TRAGIC ETUDE (Lucia).
Kate recently received her MFA from Columbia
University and has performed with many Buffalo theatre companies. She is
a proud faculty member of the Theatre and Dance Department at the University
at Buffalo, where she'll be directing SPRING AWAKENINGS in the Spring.

working with Subversive Theatre and we are very honored to welcome aboard an

Hasheen DeBerry*
("Miller")
A very active member of Subversive Theatre, Hasheen
has been involved with theatre in many capacities both on and off stage since
2001.
A recent graduate of Canisius College, Hasheen
has done everything from acting, stage management, lights & sound, to set
construction.
Other Subversive credits include: FOUNDATIONS
(2007 -- pictured right), SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER (May Day 2007), SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2007, and THE EXCEPTION AND THE RULE (2007 Buffalo
"infringement" Festival).

James Wild
("Irv")
An acting major at the University at Buffalo, James
has appeared in their productions of THE TRIAL under the direction of
Vincent O'Niell and THE EXONERATED directed by Fortunato Pezzimenti.
Outside of UB, James most recently appeared in TornSpace's production of ARCHITECT.
WAITING FOR LEFTY marks James' first appearance
with Subversive Theatre. He would like to thank his parents and his
professors for their continued support. |

Sarah Brown
("Florrie")
A third-year student in the Department of Theatre and
Dance at the University at Buffalo, Sarah has appeared in departmental
productions of THE SHAPE OF THINGS ("Evelyn") and THE
IMPORTANCE OF BEING EARNEST ("Lady Bracknel").
WAITING FOR LEFTY is Sarah's debut performance
with Subversive Theatre and she is thrilled to be part of it!

Jeffrey Coyle
("Sid")
After years of scheduling difficulties and prior
commitments, Jeff is pleased to finally be a part of a full Subversive Theatre
production.
Last seen at the New Phoenix Theatre as "Tupolski"
in THE PILLOWMAN, Jeff has performed for most of the other companies in
town. A graduate of U.B. where he earned a B.F.A. in Music Theatre, he
will be seen in the upcoming productions of LUCKY STIFF and DAMES AT
SEA later this season at O'Connell and Company.
Jeff's only previous appearance with Subversive
Theatre was in our staged reading of BURY THE DEAD (2005 -- pictured
left).

Leon S. Copeland, Jr.
("Clayton")
Leon has done extensive work at the Paul Robeson
Theatre where he has appeared in productions of MULEBONE, SOUL
SOUNDS, and August Wilson's FENCES.

Marshall Maxwell*
("Clancy")
A member of Subversive Theatre's Board of Directors,
Marshall is a fervent supporter of all forms of political theatre.
In addition to a long list of stage appearances in
Boston and New York City, Marshall's local credits include the Paul Robeson
Theatre's THE MIGHTY GENTS (2001), and New Phoenix
Theatre's THE RESERVOIR (2002).
Other appearances with Subversive Theatre include: A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR
(2004 Toronto Fringe Festival), FOUNDATIONS (2007), and THE

Jennifer Linch
("The Stenographer")
A graduate of NYC's American Academy of Dramatic
Arts, Jennifer was last seen in the New Phoenix Theatre's JESUS HOPED THE A
TRAIN ("Mary Jane Hanrahan"). Other productions include ONCE
A CATHOLIC, JIMMY SHINE, LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN, A KIND OF
ALASKA, and CORNERED which she also directed.
Film credits include THE GUYS, SCHEMING
YOUNG, APACHE, and TINF.
WAITING FOR LEFTY is Jennifer's debut
appearance with Subversive Theatre.

Rich Kraemer
("Phillips")
Rich is very pleased to be working once again with
Subversive Theatre and for the first time with the New Phoenix Theatre.
Most recently, Rich performed in THE SCHOOL FOR
SCANDAL with the Irish Classical Theatre. He has also worked with
such local theatres as Alleyway, Shea's Performing Arts, and the Buffalo
Ensemble Theatre. When not performing in the Buffalo area he tours the
Country with SHOWSTOPPER: American Dance Championship.

Keith Elkins*
("Dr. Barnes")
Since 1979, Keith "No Relation" Elkins has
appeared in as many as 50 shows on several Buffalo stages including Kavinoky,
Shakespeare in Delaware Park, Theater of Youth, and the Buffalo Ensemble
Theatre.
After many years appearing with Subversive Theatre,
Keith recently became Chairman of our Board of Directors. One of our key
players both on and off stage, it is an honor to count Keith among the cast of
WAITING FOR LEFTY.

M. Joseph Fratello
("Dr. Benjamin")
A recent graduate of Niagara University with a B.F.A.
in Performance Theatre and Actor/Combatant Certification from the SAFD, Joe is
pleased to be making his debut performance at the New Phoenix Theatre as well
as lending his skills in stage combat as this production's Fight
Choreographer.

Bill Schmidt*
("Agate Keller")
Bill is a seasoned theatre veteran whose acting career has lead him from New
York City to San Francisco and, finally, to Buffalo. A regular face on
stage with the Buffalo United Artists and Theater of Youth where he most
recently appeared in THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER.
Bill is also a
very welcome member of Subversive Theatre. His first appearance with us
was in the role "Agate Keller" in our original staged reading of WAITING
FOR LEFTY (pictured right) for May Day 2006. Since then he performed
in SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007 while also writing and directing one of the
featured vignettes.

Guy DeFedericis
("Union Member")
A resident of Dunkirk, NY, Guy has appeared with the
Lucille Ball Little Theatre, Springville Players, and South Buffalo
Theatre. He is very pleased to simultaneously make his debut with both
the New Phoenix Theatre and the Subversive Theatre Collective. |

Anthony Tyrpak*
("Union Member")
Tony is proud to be in his third performance in the
world of Buffalo Theatre . . . not counting various Shakespeare plays during
his time as a student at Canisius College. He would like to thank his
friends, family, and that special someone.

Joseph Laspro
("Union Member")
A retired teacher turned performer, Joe most recently
appeared in ITALIAN SERENADE at the Alleyway Theatre. Taking
drama classes at both Studio Arena and the Jewish Community Center, his other
acting credits include AN EVENING OF THEATRE and the local film LET
US ROLL. Joe also enjoys performing in local coffee houses as a
singer and comedian.

Julie Oesch*
("Union Member")
An ever-reliable member of Subversive Theatre, Julie
has also appeared with the Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, Shakespeare in the Park,
the New Phoenix Theatre, and the Blue Garrote Collective. Film credits
include: JUMP TOMORROW, BUFFALO '66, and STORMS.
Previous projects with Subversive Theatre include: SINCERITY
FOREVER (2006 Buffalo "infringement" Festival -- pictured right)
and SPEAK TRUTH TO POWER (May Day 2007). Julie is very pleased to
be a part of yet another "subversive" endeavor.

Stacy Kowal
("Union Member")
Stacy began taking acting classes in 2006.
Since that time she has appeared in NIGHT MUST FALL and STAS &
STELLA'S MOSTLY TRADITIONAL POLISH WEDDING. Outside of the world of
theatre, she is the Human Resources Coordinator for Planned Parenthood of
Western New York.

Kevin studied theatre at Buffalo State College and is
proud to have been involved in several local productions including the New
Phoenix Theatre's KISS ME GUIDO.

Jessica Stuber

A recent graduate of the Musical Theatre Program at
the University at Buffalo, Jessica is absolutely delighted to be involved in
Subversive Theatre's production of WAITING FOR LEFTY!
Her most recent roles include: Mary in MERRILY
WE ROLL ALONG (directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge) and the leading roles of
Ante and Locusta in the soon-to-be-released independent short film SUCCUMB.

Robb C. Nesbitt*
("Union Member/Harmonica Player")
Not so long ago, Robb left behind 26 years of
railroad track maintenance to pursue his love of art, photography, music
(writing AND recording), poetry, and grassroots politics. Now a
published poet, a well-known musician with two CDs released, and a founding
member of the performance art group Ice-9, Robb is also enjoying his two new
beautiful grand daughters.
A member of our "Volunteers' Brigade," WAITING FOR LEFTY is Robb's first time working
in a Subversive Theatre production.

Tom Izard
("Union Member")
Tom describes himself as a "jackleg thespian" who
"frittered away his formative years as a University Lecturer in Computer
Science and as a software engineer for the next quarter century."
While WAITING FOR LEFTY marks Tom's fourth-ever stage appearance, this production is Tom's
second appearance with Subversive Theatre . . . the first being the
vignette "The Death of Socrates in America" (pictured
left) for SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007.
