About the Cast of
NICKEL AND DIMED

Moira A. Keenan
("Barbara")
Over the last twenty-five years Moira has worked both
on and off stage for a long list of Buffalo theatres including Studio Arena,
Kavinoky, Irish Classical, and Paul Robeson theatres.
Working regularly with Theater of Youth, recent
performances there include THE BEST CHRISTMAS PAGEANT EVER (all three
productions of it!), HOLES, THE HOBBIT, THE LEGEND OF SLEEPY
HOLLOW, and THE WITCHES.
Moira is also a professional storyteller who performs in area
schools, daycare centers, community centers, parks, and nursing homes..
NICKEL AND DIMED is Moira's first appearance with
Subversive Theatre.

Kelly M. Beuth*
("Marge," "Rich Lady," and others)
A member of both Subversive Theatre and the
Brazen-Faced Varlets, Kelly is an actor, director, and theatre educator who
has worked throughout the Buffalo area for over seventeen years. Recent
acting projects include THE ANGELINA PROJECT (Theater
Plus), and RAMONA AND JULIET (Brazen-Faced Varlets) -- a role that won
her "Best Supporting Actress" at the 2007 Artie Awards!
Kelly directs professionally (Alleyway, Pandora's Box, Toronto Fringe
Festival) and has taught theater arts for Genesee Community and Daemen Colleges, City Honors and Performing Arts High Schools, and Studio Arena's
Theater School.
Kelly's Subversive Theatre credits include appearances in our staged reading of WAITING FOR
LEFTY (May Day 2006) and SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007. |

Arianna Boykins
("Nita," "Carlie," "Melissa," and others)
Arianna most recently appeared in BONEGRINDERS
with Road Less Traveled Productions. A graduate of Buffalo State
College, Arianna would like to thank her professors Drew Kahn, Gerry Trentham,
and Donn Youngstrom for giving her the strength to take the World by the
balls!
NICKEL AND DIMED is Arianna's first appearance with
Subversive Theatre.

Afrim Gjonbalaj
("Hector," "Server," and "Wheelchair #2")
Afrim is of Albanian descent, born and raised in
Brooklyn, NY. He is a graduate of Buffalo State College where he most
recently appeared in HAIR directed by Andre DeShields. Other
stage credits include THE FOURTH WISE MAN (Studio Arena) and GEOGRAPHY
OF A HORSE DREAMER (Action Theatre).
NICKEL AND DIMED is Afrim's first appearance

Leon S. Copeland, Jr.*
("Phillip," "Stockboy," "Howard")
One of Subversive Theatre's newest members, Leon has done extensive work at the Paul Robeson
Theatre where he has appeared in productions of MULEBONE, SOUL
SOUNDS, and August Wilson's FENCES to name only a few.
NICKEL AND DIMED is Leon's second appearance
with Subversive Theatre. Earlier this year he performed in our production
of WAITING FOR LEFTY at the New Phoenix Theatre.

Paul O'Hern
("Editor" and "Boyfriend")
A veteran of the Buffalo theatre community, Paul has
appeared on just about every stage in town. Some favorite productions
over the years include PHILADELPHIA HERE I COME (Irish Classical Theatre), SIXTEEN
WORDS FOR WATER (Alleyway Theatre), and THE SPEED OF DARKNESS (Buffalo
Ensemble Theatre).
NICKEL AND DIMED is Paul's second time working
with Subversive Theatre . . . the first being our staged reading of BURY
THE DEAD in September of 2005. |

Jennifer Linch*
("Gail," "Mallmart Customer," and others)
A graduate of NYC's American Academy of Dramatic
Arts, Jennifer most recently appeared in BONEGRINDERS with Road Less
Traveled Productions. Other productions include, JESUS HOPED THE A
TRAIN, ONCE
A CATHOLIC, JIMMY SHINE, LADY WINDERMERE'S FAN, and CORNERED which she also directed.
Film credits include THE GUYS, SCHEMING
YOUNG, APACHE, and TINF.
Another of Subversive Theatre's newest members, NICKEL AND DIMED is Jennifer's second
appearance with our troupe. She appeared in our production of WAITING FOR LEFTY
at the New Phoenix Theatre earlier this year.

Jennifer Fitzery
("Holly," "Social Worker," and others)
Jennifer has
toured nationally and worked with numerous theatres in the Buffalo area
including the Irish Classical Theatre Company, The Kavinoky Theatre, Theater
of Youth, Alleyway Theatre, O’Connell and Company, and Shakespeare in
Delaware Park.
Jennifer holds an MFA in Acting from Purdue
University and in 2001-2002 served as an acting intern with Milwaukee
Repertory Theater. She has taught acting for numerous years to a variety of
age levels and currently is the Education Program Coordinator for Shea’s
Performing Arts Center.

Justin Fiordaliso
("George," "Ted," and others)
Justin is a theater major at Buffalo State College
where he is the first-ever recipient of the Donald Savage "Actors of
Promise" Scholarship. Stage credits include Studio Arena (INDIAN
BLOOD), Theater for Change, and Lewiston's Theater-in-the-Mist.
NICKEL AND DIMED is Justin's first appearance with
Subversive Theatre.

Jessica Stuber*
("Joan," "Maddy," and others)
An enthusiastic member of Subversive Theatre and a recent graduate of the Musical Theatre Program at
the University at Buffalo, Jessica's recent roles include: Mary in MERRILY
WE ROLL ALONG (directed by Marcia Milgrom Dodge) and the leading roles of
Ante and Locusta in the soon-to-be-released independent short film SUCCUMB.
For NICKEL AND DIMED, Jessica is pulling
double-duty also serving as this production's costume designer. This is
her appearance with Subversive Theatre. Earlier this year she performed in
our production of WAITING FOR LEFTY at the New Phoenix Theatre. |

Stephanie Dale
("Teenager," "Kimberly," and others)
Stephanie is a trained actor and dancer who has
performed, directed, and/or stage managed over 30 different productions.
She is also a three-time recipient of the Natural Speech & Drama
Excellence Award.
Stephanie recently appeared in the New York premiere
of FRONTIERS at Studio Arena Theatre as Emma Bell. Some
other favorite roles include Anne (DIARY OF ANNE FRANK), Scout
(TO KILL A MOCKING BIRD), and Feste (TWELFTH NIGHT).
NICKEL AND DIMED is Stephanie's first time
working with Subversive Theatre.

Tom Izard*
("Winn Dixie Manager," "Pete," and others)
A very supportive member of Subversive Theatre, Tom describes himself as a "jackleg thespian" who
"frittered away his formative years as a University Lecturer in Computer
Science and as a software engineer for the next quarter century."
While NICKEL AND DIMED is only Tom's fifth-ever stage appearance, this production is
his third appearance with Subversive Theatre . . . the first two being the
vignette "The Death of Socrates in America" for SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007 and WAITING FOR LEFTY at
the New Phoenix Theatre earlier this year.
