Arlene Clement
("Sophia Fuentes")
A respected veteran of Buffalo's theatre community,
Arlene has worked at many area theatres, making unforgettable appearances in such productions as BUA's THE
LARAMIE PROJECT, Irish Classical's BLOOD WEDDING, Buffalo Ensemble Theatre's MARTY, and --
just last season -- Theater of Youth's HONUS AND ME.
With Subversive Theatre, Arlene last appeared in our
production of A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON MY WAY TO SHOOT THE CZAR as
part of the 2004 Toronto Fringe Festival. We're thrilled to have her
back!

Diane Gaidry
("Alexandra Fuentes")
Since Diane’s
return to Buffalo, her stage credits include leading roles in FAR AWAY
at the 2009 Buffalo "infringement" Festival as well as
Irish Classical's productions of CHARLEY'S AUNT & LONG DAY'S
JOURNEY INTO NIGHT.
During her two decades
in Los Angeles, Diane played lead roles in numerous independent films
and award winning short films including “Loving
Annabelle” (best actress – Outfest ’06), “The Dogwalker”
(best first feature – Cinequest), “America So Beautiful”
(Berlin Film Festival), & “Transaction” (grand prix du
jury – Clermont- Ferrand) as well as appearances in several episodic TV shows,
most recently NBC's “Medium.”
This is her first time with Subversive
Theatre. |

Bethany Sparacio
("Yanina Fuentes")
Bethany only recently returned
to Buffalo and was last seen in Theatre Plus' 24 WITH MAGGIE at the Main
Street Cabaret. Her work has taken her to a variety of places
including Kansas
City where her acting credits included Pompey in MEASURE FOR MEASURE,
Mrs. MacCualey in the world
premiere of QUINDARO, Lucy in THE COUNTRY WIFE, and Egeus
in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. She is very excited to be back in
Buffalo’s diverse and talented theatre community.
Bethany first appeared with Subversive Theatre in SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2009.

Marisol Torres
("Fidelia Fuentes")
Marisol is a Buffalo native and
currently a Senior at the Buffalo Academy for the Visual and Performing Arts.
She has recently been seen in THE SECRET LIFE OF GIRLS at Theatre of
Youth as Sutton and has been a member of Theatre for Change for the past two
years. She is passionate for the arts and has hopes of becoming a
professional bilingual actress. She would like to thank God, great
friends, and a loving family.
This is Marisol's first time working with Subversive
Theatre. |

Elijah Tyner
("Alexis Fuentes")
A 13-year-old boy of both Native-American and
African-American descent, Elijah is in Eighth Grade at the Buffalo Academy for
the Visual and Performing Arts where he studies theatre under instructor Kelly
Beuth* and has participated in multiple productions there including last
year's version of THE ARISTOCATS.
Other interests include camping, hiking, swimming,
drawing, and -- last but not least -- partying.
This is Elijah's first time working with Subversive
Theatre.

Victor Morales
("The Captain")
Victor's long list of stage credits features the
Buffalo Ensemble Theatre, Kavinoky, Shakespeare in the Park, Amherst Players,
the Lancaster Opera House, New Phoenix, and the Niagara Regional Theatre Guild
in addition to film, commercial, and voiceover work.
With Subversive Theatre he's appeared in our
productions of ARE YOU NOW OR HAVE YOU EVER BEEN
(2004), FOUNDATIONS (2007),
our Artie Award-winning production of WAITING FOR
LEFTY (2008), ...AND
THEY PUT HANDCUFFS ON THE FLOWERS (2008) and -- most recently -- DROP
HAMMER (2008). |

Julian Perez
("The Lieutenant")
A Sergeant in the Army National Guard's 27th Brigade
BSTB, Julian recently returned
from a nine month tour in Afghanistan.
He is a graduate of Buffalo State
College with a B.A. in Theatre and appeared in their 2008 production of ANTIGONE
as Creon.
Other acting credits include the bilingual theatre
troupe Raices' production of BOTANICA (2004) and -- most recently --
the Buffalo United Artists' staged reading of ANNA AND THE TROPICS
(2009).
This is Julian's first appearance with Subversive
Theatre.

Justin Fiordaliso
("Emmanuel")
Justin is a junior at
Buffalo State College and is majoring in theatre. Justin has performed
with many theaters in Buffalo, including the late Studio Arena (INDIAN
BLOOD), Torn Space (THE FASTEST CLOCK IN THE UNIVERSE) and Theatre
in the Mist (BRIGHTON BEACH MEMOIRS, WAIT UNTIL DARK).
Justin is very excited to be
returning to Subversive’s stage, where he was seen in our production of NICKEL AND DIMED
(2008) at the ALT Theatre. |

Joanna Farrell
("Cecilia Sanjines")
Joanna is a recent graduate of Niagara
University with a B.F.A. in Theatre and a B.A. in English. Some
of her favorite past stage credits include: Mrs. Peachum in THE THREEPENNY
OPERA, Sally Bowles in CABARET, Peggy Guggenheim
in I'M PEGGY GUGGENHEIM AND YOU'RE NOT, and Violet Czodik in THE PHOENIX
CANTATA.
This is Joanna's first time working with Subversive
Theatre. She sends much love to her family and friends for their
unending support.

Sandra Gilliam*
("Teresa Salas")
Sandra is
an actor and singer who has performed on many stages over the years.
Favorite shows include FOUNDATIONS (of course with the Subversive
Theatre), FOR COLORED GIRLS WHO HAVE CONSIDERED SUICIDE, BLACK
NATIVITY (at the Paul Robeson Theatre), and STOMPIN' AT THE SAVOY (also
with Paul Robeson).
A long-time member of Subversive Theatre, Sandra is very happy to be back on the Subversive stage
with the great cast of WIDOWS.

Joy Scime
("Katherina" & "Beatrice Kastoria")
Joy performs with the
improvisational companies Dramatic Solutions, Wondermares and the company she
co-founded – Playback Theatre of Buffalo.
Recent stage credits include Torn Space's THE
FASTEST CLOCK IN THE UNIVERSE and ALT Theatre's ELECTRA. Film
credits include the lead in the locally produced independent film Medea.
She is currently making a video documentary on the history of jazz in Buffalo.
Joy last appeared with Subversive Theatre in SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2005.

Jack Agugliaro*
("Father Gabriel," "Doctor," "Alonzo," &
"Mr. Kastoria")
A teacher and reading specialist, Jack is the
former Chair of Lewiston's Theatre-in-the-Mist, Inc. where he appeared in many
of their productions including BRIGHTON
BEACH MEMOIRS (Jack), ANOTHER ANTIGONE (Henry), and THE
INEXPERIENCED GHOST (Michael). He also works behind
the scenes as a director, stage manager, and make-up artist.
A reliable member of Subversive Theatre, Jack's appeared in
our productions of SUBVERSIVE
SHORTS 2007, DROP
HAMMER (2008), and SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2009. |

Hanna Lipkind
("Rosa")
Hanna Lipkind is a recent alum of SUNY at Buffalo,
where she graduated last May, Magna Cum Laude, earning a BFA in theatre
performance and a BA in philosophy. Recent productions include ELECTRA
(Orestes) at the ALT
Theatre, as well as MELANCHOLY
PLAY (Joan) and THE CHERRY ORCHARD (Carlotta) at UB. When
she’s not acting (or waitressing), she can be found making music with
Buffalo’s best (only?) folk rock trio, "Roaming Sequoia."
This is Hanna's first appearance with Subversive
Theatre.

Jenna Winnett*
("Mariluz")
Jenna recently graduated from SUNY
at Buffalo with a B.A. in Theatre. She has been seen in Theatre
Helden’s OEDIPUS REX as well as U.B.’s productions of THE FALL
OF THE HOUSE OF USHER, SKIN OF OUR TEETH, and THE LARAMIE
PROJECT.
Jenna studied stand-up comedy in Canterbury, England.
She can often be seen performing in Buffalo at Nietzsche’s on Allen St.
With Subversive Theatre, Jenna has appeared in OUROBOROS
(2009) and SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2009. She’s very excited to work
with the company again. |

Anthony Orlowski
("First Soldier")
Stage struck since his days at the Buffalo Academy of
Visual and Performing Arts, Anthony studied acting at the University of
Buffalo, Buffalo State College, and Fredonia. In addition to work backstage on a number of
productions, Anthony has performed in a long list of local plays, commercials
and promotional films that have taken him from stage, screen, and even onto
the radio.
With Subversive Theatre, Anthony appeared in our co-production of THE LARAMIE PROJECT
and in THE HAIRY APE as part of the 2009 Buffalo "infringement"
Festival.

Kevin Dennis*
("Second Soldier")
A dutiful member of Subversive Theatre, Kevin studied theatre at Buffalo State College and is
proud to have been involved in several local productions both on and off
campus including the New
Phoenix Theatre's KISS ME GUIDO.
WIDOWS is Kevin's fifth appearance
with Subversive Theatre. He first got into the mix with SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2007,
then he joined our Artie Award-winning production of WAITING
FOR LEFTY (2008), OUROBOROS
(2009), and SUBVERSIVE SHORTS 2009. |
