  BLOOD STAINED
  T-SHIRT

featuring live music by Cameron Markott

subversive theatre is honored to present the North American-debut of this uniquely Buffalo tale as part of the 2019 Buffalo "infringement" Festival

fresh from the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, BLOOD STAINED T-SHIRT
offers an intensely moving journey that cleverly straddles the line between hard-hitting stand up comedy and one-man confessional theatre.  writer/performer Tim Joyce* returns to his hometown with a heart-rendingly honest re-telling of his real life experience being attacked at knife point on Buffalo's West Side...

what begins as a simple recounting of events quickly evolves into a gripping exploration of the social, economic, and racial tensions that are ripping our society apart.  in this hour-long filibuster, Tim Joyce* reaches into the depths of his heart to ask essential questions about how we co-exist with our fellow human beings in this world-gone-mad and how we find the strength to look ourselves in the mirror and try to grow

the powerful mise-en-scene of this piece is enhanced by live original music performed by Cameron Markott
